The Management Committee of the Victory Hall is very pleased to announce that the next film to be screened at the Hall will be the wartime romantic comedy / drama - “Their Finest”. This comedy drama film tells the story of a former secretary, who joins the cast and crew of a major WWII production, while the blitz rages around them The film stars Gemma Arterton, Sam Claflin, and Bill Nighy.

£6.00 each

This screening will be Friday 22nd September starting at 7.30 PM.

The running time will be 117 minutes, with an interval for refreshments mid-way through. The screening will again be provided by the same professional “touring cinema” company, and the layout for the showing will be the usual “cafe style”. 

Tickets for this film will be £6.00. As usual, these can be purchased in advance from Threads. Demand is expected to be high – so please book early! Please note that this film is rated 12A

The life and times of the amazing Mike Hailwood. MBE. GM Dave Hailwood will be giving a talk about Mike , his illustrious career and personal life. Leading to what some call one of the greatest moments in any sport ever, the comeback in 1978. Memorabilia will be on display as well as the famous RC181 Honda , photos, film clips and a load of great stories.
