Ruts DC , Morgellons & Stop Press play the Balcombe Club - 7th April 2018

Ruts DC , Morgellons & Stop Press play the Balcombe Club - 7th April 2018

Ruts DC , Morgellons & Stop Press play the Balcombe Club to raise funds for Cancer Research and St Catherine's Hospice The Ruts / Ruts DC are an English reggae-influenced punk rock band, notable for the 1979 UK Top 10 hit "Babylon's Burning", and an earlier single "In a Rut", which was not a hit but was highly regarded ... STOP PRESS! ARE A 5 PIECE PROGRESSIVE ROCK/REGGAE BAND FROM THE SOUTH EAST OF ENGLAND. Described as music made up of ‘tight, clean, fast, tuneful, intelligent music’ (, Stop Press! draws influence from technical indie and authentic 1st wave ska/reggae movements to create an inventive blend of contemporary summer vibes.

Performing the music of the come back kings of pop, it only takes a minute to realize that 'Never Forget' have the looks, the moves and the voices to pay a fitting homage in this tribute show celebrating the UK's biggest group - Take That!.

The show includes all of the songs that you expect to hear - From the early days of 'Take That and Party' the show progresses through to the greatest day everyone was waiting for, the band re-forming and the circus that followed when Robbie returned to shine again as the UK's premier pop act.

London based quartet MORGELLONS have been causing something of a stir on the capital’s music scene, and the ripples are spreading further afield, striking a chord with an appreciative and rapidly increasing audience.

Taking the post-punk blueprint of bands like Joy Division and Magazine, the frozen intensity of early Banshees, and the art-school nihilism of the Velvet Underground to the Stooges, Morgellons have created a sound that has a relevance and urgency that marks them out as something different from their peers.
