There is free off road parking at The Balcombe Club, and overspill parking nearby. Balcombe rail station is less than 10 minutes walk away. 

Great Value 

The Victory Hall is fairly priced for Wedding Receptions and Parties. Hire can be arranged by the hour or all-day and prior event preparation can be included, depending on how elaborately you wish to 'Dress' the Hall. For Wedding or Party functions, the stage may be used by bands or DJs.

We have contacts with various businesses who can help you plan your event and provide catering, decorations, entertainment, or you may do everything using your own contacts and helpers. 

Access 

The Main Hall has a side Kitchen area and modern toilet facilities for both male and female with separate cubicle for less able persons. This Toilet includes baby changing facilities. 
 
Broad steps with handrails, make good access in the front of the hall, or a small ramp to a side door from the car park provides wheelchair access and welcome for the less able. 

Weddings at The Victory Hall 

he Victory Hall is a totally unique village wedding venue; its one of Sussex’s finest village hall’s offering seating for 165 people and plenty of parking. 
 
Situated in the picturesque village of Balcombe and yet less than a 10 minute walk from the mainline station with its excellent service from London (40 minutes) and Brighton (20 minutes) So for guests coming from afar there is no need to drive. 
 
The hall comes with a stage for your own live music / disco etc. and its own separate kitchen. 
 
Alternatively it can be offered with the adjoining Forrest Room with separate tables and seating for up to 40 people. This room is ideal for a separate buffet area or a quiet place to just talk and catch up with the family away from the hustle of the main hall. Within this room we can operate a separate dedicated licensed bar for the function. Beyond this room there is also a small pretty garden ideal for photographs or just sitting outside on a nice day. 
 
The adjacent Social Club can provide Reception Arrival Drinks, Wines During the Meal and your guests may use the Club's Bar as either a Pay Bar or you can set an amount for a 'Free' Bar and monitor expenditure 
 
You may also provide all of your own Soft and Alcoholic drinks and Glasses but we would respectfully point out that your Guests will not be able to use the Social Club Bar in these circumstances whereby you provide your own drinks.

Private Parties 

The Victory Hall makes a great venue for Private Parties of all types. The wooden floor is perfect for dancing on, and being wooden, spillage of drinks or food can be quickly cleaned up without needing to worry about carpet cleaning bills for accidents. 
 
You may bring Alcoholic and soft drinks into the Hall providing you do not sell alcoholic drinks to your guests. 
 
Alternatively, by prior arrangement, your guests may use the Club's Bar and pay for drinks they may require. 
 
Food can either be prepared and cooked in the Kitchen or bought in, the served on rectangular tables at a point of your choice within the Hall. 
 
 
You can of course set up tables and Chairs in the hall for a 'Sit Down 'meal, then at a convenient time ,clear the tables and let the Dancing begin. 
 
The Stage provides a focal point for the Musical entertainment whether you choose to have a Disco or a Live Group. There is sufficient space on stage for a 6 piece Band and all of their equipment. The PA system may be used for the organiser to introduce the group or make other announcements. 
 
The Hall is also ideal for childrens' parties as the tables may be set up close to the kitchen area anf then if you are having an Entertainer, they can set up either on stage or infront of the stage, and there will be still plenty of room for games and space for the younger ones to let off some steam ! 
 
There is also plenty of space for parents of guests to congregate and oversee things. Alternatively, parents can use the kitchen area for a chat whilst waiting.
